
The founder and director of Earn and Live, Farida Yasmin Jessi, was born in Rashid Deohata village of Mirzapur upazila in Tangail district. Her father was the late Ibrahim Mia, and her mother was the late Fatema Begum. From childhood, she studied at one of the subcontinent’s most renowned residential schools for girls, Bharateswari Homes. She was admitted there in Class One and completed her Matriculation in 1988 and Intermediate in 1990.
The founder of Bharateswari Homes, Ranada Prasad Saha, was a philanthropic individual. From a young age, Farida Yasmin Jessi embraced his ideals as well as the charitable values of her parents. She dreamed of working for the welfare of people and dedicating herself to humanitarian service.
